LiveWest Donates Equipment to The Focus Training Group Apprentices

Leading South West Housing Association, LiveWest have donated decommissioned electrical test instruments to The Focus Training Group to support electrical apprentices in their practical training.

Chris Linder, Trainer/Assessor at The Focus Training Group said "We are most grateful for this donation, these instruments will support electrical apprentices at our centres in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth and Redruth".

Bernard Collins, Curriculum and Quality Director added "I'm incredibly proud of our industry, we have always supported electrical training and this donation goes above and beyond, we are privileged to train apprentices from LiveWest.

LiveWest own and manage over 36,000 homes across the South West from Cornwall to Gloucestershire and have ambitious plans to invest more than £2bn in developing 16,000 new homes in the region over the next 10 years.

Darren Oddy, Electrical Supervisor at LiveWest, and Andy Woodcock, Supervisor at LiveWest said "We have great pleasure in supporting The Focus Training Group with the donation of electrical test equipment and supporting the training of our future electricians in the South West. As a company, we re-invest everything we do to support the local South West economy, this is just one of the many ways we can work with our partners to provide opportunity to local people".
