The Focus Training Group is pleased to announce that Mark will be joining as the new Managing Director, starting in late February 2025. Mark transitions into this role from On Course South West / Plymouth City Council, where he served as Principal and played a pivotal role in leading adult education and apprenticeship programmes.
As sad as we will be to say goodbye to Jamie Rail after 26 years at the end of March, we look forward to welcoming Mark to The Focus Training Group at the end of February to take on the next chapter under his leadership. We look forward to him leading us into the future.

As he steps into his new role with The Focus Training Group, Mark is eager to build on our strong foundations and continue driving excellence in education and training. His extensive experience in adult education, apprenticeships, and vocational training makes him a valuable addition to our leadership team.
We also extend our best wishes to Lucinda Sanders, who will be taking over as the new Principal at On Course South West. With her wealth of knowledge in education and training, we are confident she will continue to lead with success.
