Overview

To provide the knowledge and understanding required to install, commission and maintain air-source heat pump systems.

This is a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of heat pump systems. The qualification is developed from the National Occupational Standards and is recognised by the Micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS)registration body as an acceptable entry qualification to join their scheme.

Who is this course aimed at?

This course is for installers, maintenance companies, specifiers, building control officers and inspectors and anyone who needs to know about safe installation practices of heat pump installations.

Pre-requisites

Assessments consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations

How much will it cost?

£436 + VAT Per Person including training, assessment and certification fee.

This is a funded price for a limited period for self employed candidates or for candidates working for companies that have less than 250 employees. The booking is subject to a refundable £100 deposit.

UDHW UNVENTED HOT WATER SYSTEMS

This course is designed to enable plumbing and heating engineers to confirm their competence in the design, installation and service/maintenance of unvented hot water storage systems. Candidates will also gain an understanding of central heating and hot water storage systems design and installation issues as they relate to energy conservation issues under Part L1 of the Building Regulations.
