FAA Award in First Aid at Work Course
Where a workplace First Aid risk assessment identifies a need for a First Aider in the Workplace, this three-day qualification meets the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. The learner will attain knowledge and the practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace First Aid situations.
Who is this course aimed at?
This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first aid needs assessment.
How long will the course take?
This is a three day course.
Is there an exam?
This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and written/ oral questioning.
When will I know if I have passed?
Results notified within 2 weeks.
What books will I need?
No books are required.
