Legionella Overview
Health and Safety law requires anyone in charge of buildings to assess the risks posed by Legionnaire’s disease and the Legionella bacteria. This course will help candidates design and maintain water systems to minimise those risks.
Who is this course aimed at?
Plumbers and maintenance engineers employed by local councils and housing associations who are responsible for the management and maintenance of hot and cold water systems in residential accommodation such as nursing homes and housing associations.
Pre-requisites
No previous knowledge or qualification is required, however it is recommended that candidates undertake WRAS or Unvented Hot Water Systems prior to attending this course.
