City & guilds 2391-52 level 3 test and inspect package has been developed for practicing electricians who wish to carry out Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.

Designed to offer a cost-effective and efficient method of achieving either the 2391-50 or the 2391-51 in isolation or combining both as part of a convenient package to achieve the 2391-52.

Who is this course aimed at?

Practicing electricians who are working to the current wiring regulations and have preferably gained the City & Guilds 2382 qualification or equivalent.

Candidates must provide evidence that they are at least 18 years old.

Candidates must provide evidence that they are a practicing electrician and holds one of the following:

Completed Installation Electrician Apprenticeship with The Focus Training Group
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance)
Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services Experienced Worker
Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services
Level 3 NVQ Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification.
Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings
Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings Experienced Worker Qualification
EAL Building Services Engineering (Level 3) – Electrotechnical Installation
Equivalent historical qualifications
ECS Gold Card for a Domestic Electrician, JIB Electrician, or Approved Electrician Card

5 days (9am to 4pm).

What books will I need?

You will need the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Guidance Note 3, and On-Site Guide.

Is there an exam?

Yes, there is a two hour multiple choice online examination and one practical assessment.

Please note the online exam only is for candidates within their registration period who may need to re-sit the exam. For those looking to qualify with certification, please contact us as you will need to sit a practical and two written assessments in addition.
