ACS Reassessments Overview
The appliance ACS reassessments are for experienced gas installers that need to keep their ACS qualifications up to date. Reassessments are required every five years for installers to maintain Gas Safe Registration.
Who is this course aimed at?
Experienced gas installers who need to renew their domestic ACS qualifications.
Please note that proof of previous qualifications is required to confirm your booking.
Pre-requisites
Candidates must complete the reassessments no more than twelve months after the expiry date of their existing qualifications.
Assessments available
Refresher Training Day –
Available for all candidates who feel they need their current knowledge updating prior to undertaking an assessment.
CCN1 Core Gas Safety –
Three days of practical and theory examinations required for gas safety and legislation. CPA1 (Flue Gas Analysis) is also included in the assessment.
CENWAT 1 Domestic Natural Gas Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters –
Half day practical assessment.
CKR1 Domestic Natural Gas Cookers –
Half day practical assessment.
HTR1 Domestic Natural Gas Fires –
Half day practical assessment.
DAH1 Domestic Natural Gas Warm Air Heaters –
Half day installation and servicing assessment.
